The Liturgy of the Hours is the official prayer of the Church intended to sanctify the various hours of the day. Next to the Mass, it is the highest form of prayer in the Church. It is steeped in the ancient practice of the early Church by praying the Psalms at certain hours. We use the Word on Fire Liturgy of the Hours which makes it very easy to follow along.
